Good News - The Great Barrier Reef Is Doing Great

Alarmist climate cult members will be spitting out there carbon neutral cornflakes this morning with this good news

Fresh numbers from the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority have landed, and they make the usual “the reef is dying” headlines look increasingly ridiculous. Although the publication desperately tries to tow the climate cult narrative, the truth shines through.

In September 2025, scientists completed 538 reef health surveys across 46 reefs. The result? Minimal bleaching in just one southern region and zero bleaching anywhere else.

Even better: coral cover across the reef now sits at its fourth highest level in 40 years, beaten only by the strong years of 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Now take a look at what the media was peddling a few short years ago and now how they’re all but silent on the Great Barrier Reef.

The reef isn’t collapsing. It’s holding its own, and in many areas doing better than the doomsday models predicted.

While climate alarm outlets continue to run the same “mass bleaching event” stories year after year, the actual on-the-ground surveys keep delivering a much calmer picture. The reef has survived cyclones, crown-of-thorns starfish outbreaks and past bleaching episodes. It keeps recovering.

The endless “Great Barrier Reef is doomed” narrative has been one of the most repeated climate scare stories for over a decade. Yet the official data shows a system that is far more resilient than the headlines allow.

The public is starting to notice the gap between the constant panic and what the actual monitoring shows. When the authority responsible for the reef reports strong coral cover and almost no bleaching, the fear-peddlers lose another round.

The Great Barrier Reef isn’t dying. It’s the apocalyptic headlines that are struggling to stay alive.

Add this to the endless pile of failed climate predictions and ice free Arctic predictions.
