Barclays becomes the next major bank to rush out the door of the net zero banking club right behind HSBC

The dominos are falling folks. Not long after HSBC quit the Net Zero Banking Alliance, a group dedicated to helping banks conform to the Paris Agreement, Barclays is the next domino to fall. It seems the writing is on the wall for the net zero scam as we turn the tide and start to win the culture war.
“After consideration, we have decided to withdraw from the Net Zero Banking Alliance,” the bank said in a statement on its website. That is some good consideration, well done Barclays.
Well, Jeanne, kindly, get fucked.
For decades the climate cult have been dominating the narrative on climate change. Year after year, company after company, NGO after NGO, politician after politician, they all fell in line to the climate cult takeover. Now, fresh waves of resistance are in the process of thwarting their plans. The secretary of the United States is now commissioning pro CO2 and hydrocarbon reports, the Reform party in the UK are joining the fight and have started to win battles here and there, and The Climate Con army have distributed 55,000+ leaflets this year alone. No wonder our enemies are starting to retreat but they haven’t given up.
A spokesperson for the Net Zero Banking Alliance said it remains focused on “supporting its members to lead on climate by addressing the barriers preventing their clients from investing in the net-zero transition.”Â
It seems like the upper hand is changing owners and we now have the advantage. We must not make the same mistake our enemies made and get cocky thinking it’s all over and we can relax. Not yet, we haven’t won yet. The climate cult fell into the overconfidence trap and underestimated our resolve and ability to fight back. Let’s not return the favour.
With Barclays leaving the Net Zero Banking Alliance it signals the retreat from the narrative. The bank has still claimed to be on the net zero climate cult side though with nearly a trillion pounds in loans expected to be delivered by the bank. Is this posturing because we haven’t won the culture war yet? Probably. However their leaving of the alliance is a step in the right direction. What was once a one way street now has finally a new lane installed and traffic is moving in the other direction, the direction of truth, freedom and common sense.
