Free The Light Bulbs!
If we want to spend a few more pennies for better lighting we deserve the freedom of choice to do so

The freedom of choice when it comes to light bulbs might seem like a trivial matter. After all, who really cares that much about lightbulbs anyway, right? You flick the switch, the light comes on, and that’s that. Well, we have to question, why was there such a push to outright ban any and all light bulbs other than L.E.D? We are told it is to save energy and reduce carbon emissions. Is it just a coincidence that the types of light bulbs banned also happen to be the bulbs that produce light more harmonious to our senses? With the only remaining choice being the bulbs that produce the most inharmonious light. Once we grasp the truth about CO2 and understand we need more of it, the climate hysteria—built on a heap of CO2 falsehoods—collapses entirely.
Let me be clear, we are incredibly powerful beings with the ability to adapt to a wide range of environments. It is also important to remember the power of our minds and not nocebo the effects to be worse than they are. But why settle for adaptation when we can create an environment that is as harmonious as possible? The type of light we expose ourselves to in our homes isn’t just about aesthetics or energy efficiency; it’s about our well-being. Different types of light can affect our mood, our sleep patterns, and even our overall health. Some people find that certain types of light, like the warm glow of incandescent bulbs, are more comfortable and less straining on the eyes than the harsher, blue-tinted light of LEDs. Others might prefer the energy-saving benefits of newer technologies. The point is, it should be our choice. Our homes are our private spaces, and what we do within them—down to the type of light we use—should be entirely up to us.
Yet, in the UK, this freedom has been under assault for years and seems to have all but been obliterated. Legislation has crept in, pushing for the phasing out of traditional incandescent bulbs in favour of more “energy-efficient” options. There is new hope emerging in the USA however with the executive order for freedom of choice for consumer goods. This gives us fresh momentum to reignite the issue in the UK to bring this freedom back.
Timeline of light bulb phase out in the UK
The UK government banned incandescent light bulbs as part of a broader initiative driven by the European Union, of which the UK was a member at the time. This ban was implemented in phases. The process was governed by the EU Ecodesign Directive, specifically through Commission Regulation (EC) No 244/2009, which set minimum efficiency standards that traditional incandescent bulbs could not meet. Yet another example of how the climate con seeps into our lives through legislation.
September 2009: The ban began with 100-watt clear bulbs and all frosted incandescent bulbs.
September 2010: 75-watt clear bulbs were prohibited.
September 2011: 60-watt clear bulbs were phased out.
September 2012: All remaining clear incandescent bulbs, including 40-watt and 25-watt bulbs were banned.
September 2018: Halogen light bulbs banned
Beyond Color Temperature Key Factors to Consider
Spectral Quality (Full Spectrum vs. Spiky Spectrum)

Incandescent bulbs emit a continuous spectrum, meaning they produce light across all visible wavelengths (400–700 nm) in a smooth, natural curve, much like sunlight or fire. This full-spectrum light renders colors accurately and feels inherently balanced to our eyes and brains, which evolved under such conditions.
LEDs, even at 2700K, produce a discontinuous spectrum with distinct peaks—often a sharp spike of blue (around 450 nm) blended with a phosphor coating to create warmer tones. This “spiky” output doesn’t replicate the even distribution of natural light. Lower-quality LEDs can distort colours (check the Color Rendering Index, or CRI—aim for 90+), making environments feel less vibrant or subtly off. While high-end LEDs are improving, they still don’t fully match the seamless richness of incandescents, potentially affecting mood and visual comfort over time.

Comparing Halogen to L.E.D. light bulb product descriptions
Here you can see the colouring rendering index is much better with Halogen.

Flicker (The Invisible Pulse)
Incandescents run on alternating current (AC) and flicker at 50–60 Hz (depending on your region), but their thermal inertia—essentially the filament’s glow lingering—smooths this out to a level imperceptible to most humans. It’s steady, reliable light.
LEDs also flicker due to AC power, but many rely on electronic drivers to convert that power. Cheap or poorly designed drivers cause flicker rates (sometimes 100–120 Hz or higher) that, while not always consciously noticeable, can strain the eyes, trigger headaches, or even affect neurological health in sensitive individuals. Studies, like those from the IEEE, have linked flicker to discomfort, fatigue, and, in rare cases, photosensitive epilepsy. Tunable LEDs might hit 2700K, but if the flicker’s bad, your body might still feel the difference. Look for “flicker-free” LEDs—though they’re pricier and not the norm.
Blue Light Intensity (Even at Warm Temperatures)
At 2700K, incandescents emit very little blue light (450–500 nm), naturally aligning with evening relaxation and circadian health. Their energy peaks in the red-yellow range, mimicking dusk or firelight.
Even at 2700K, LEDs often retain a higher blue light component than incandescents. That blue spike—used to generate white light before phosphors warm it up—can penetrate deeper into the eye, potentially overstimulating the retina. Research from the American Medical Association (2016) warns that excessive blue light, especially at night, can disrupt sleep by suppressing melatonin, even in “warm” LEDs. While not as intense as 5000K daylight LEDs, this subtle excess might still throw off your body’s rhythm, making LEDs less harmonious for evening use compared to incandescents.
Electromagnetic Emissions (EMF)
Incandescents are simple—just a filament heated by electricity. They produce minimal electromagnetic interference beyond the heat and light itself, keeping your environment electromagnetically “quiet.”
LEDs require drivers and circuits to function, which can emit low levels of electromagnetic fields (EMF) or “dirty electricity.” While the health impact of this is debated, some studies suggest prolonged exposure to EMF from electronics might contribute to fatigue, stress, or other subtle effects in sensitive people. It’s a minor factor for most, but if you’re aiming for a truly harmonious environment, it’s worth considering.
Another example of the climate con seeping into our lives
From food to transport to heating to even light bulbs, the foundational lies surrounding CO2, warming, Methane, renewable energy, hydrocarbons and so on are impacting our daily lives. The thing is, so much of this is a slow grind, almost invisible unless you were to look for it. Even recently an ecomonist by the name of ‘name’, predicted that net zero will cost about £900 more per person extra by 2030.
The Climate Con Carbon Clarity Campaign
Some of the long term goals of The Climate Con:
- Chemtrail free skies
- Cheap reliable energy/electricity
- Freedom of choice on goods, appliances and vehicles
- Eradication of climate guit and fear
- Security of farmers, farming and food!
- The end of Net Zero
- More CO2!
And so much more.
We achieve these goals by educating the people on the truth, destroying the programming. We do this by laser focusing on one aspect of the agenda and tearing into it.
Our enemies have weaponised the climate to attack every layer of our society. The USA is turning the tide however the calvary may or may not come here in the UK.
Right now we have a climate mecha Godzilla storming towards our society and nothing will stop him unless we do. He is weak from all the fighting but still dangerous.
We’re a team of commando snipers with explosive rounds, picking off piece by piece. Tactical Guerilla warfare. Enough damage and we can stop him, if we don’t do anything, everything we take for granted will be stolen from us and future generations will wonder what the fuck happened as they wake up to a carbon credited slavery system with no freedom, fun, or farts.
